The Company Secretary course is offered by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). It is a professional degree that trains individuals to handle the legal and regulatory aspects of a company, ensuring compliance and corporate governance.

Companies with a paid-up share capital of ₹10 crores or more are compulsorily required to appoint a whole-time CS who is a member of ICSI. -
After successful completion of the CS professional and training, a candidate is admitted as an Associate Member of ICSI (ACS) and can use ACS with their name.
